Blissful Summer Card

Standard sizes cards are nice, but I wanted to try my hands on a more unusual shape.

The card below measures 8"x8". The front is created from six triangular shapes, which are running through the bottom left-hand corner and are then trimmed off along the spine of the card.

I used the following products for this project:

• Little Claire's 'Blissful stamp'
• Joy! Crafts and Marianne D dies for the flowers
• Leaf dies from Little Claire
• Oval and scallpoed oval dies
• Linen textured A4 card from Southfield
• Textured 12"x12" card in co-ordinating colours for the card front
• Textured cardstock in soft colours for the die-cut shapes
• Glass smooth 200gsm card from Southfield (as base for the stamped image)
• Black Memento ink pad
• ProMarkers
• Adhesive
• Toolbox essentials

I loved working on this project. Just be aware that it is a bit time consuming to create the 'spiky' card blank.
